last weekend was summer day in melbourne.
to make the most of it, we rushed to the beach!
of course, i didn’t forget ice cream!
and peaceful moment…
i love my new towel/ shawl/ beach mat in one, purchased from hamamist.
it’s light weight, very soft and comfy to sleep on it, and then wipe my wet feet and dried fast, and i used it to cover my skin from the sun on the way back.
now we have one each but i really want more!!
i love bitter caramel!!!
this is my favorite canele from gateaux de bordeaux.
you can get it from many cafe now, but somehow, it tastes different from the one you buy directly at the markets…
and this is what i made some time ago. cream caramel.
i made it extra bitter!
this caramel was excellent with vanilla ice cream too.
you just follow any caramel recipe with water and sugar, and just leave it little longer, but do not overburn it!
